Pizzarias & restaurants

If you do not want to cook in the apartment or have your dinner at the Schillerhof restaurant there are a lot of different good eating places in Bad Gastein.

Of course, we have not tried all of them until now, but at the moment we can inform you about the following examples:

Steaks

Until now we have had the best steaks at "Steak und Mehr". You will find it at 15, Kaiser Franz J.-Str. (not far away from the casino).

Just next to the waterfall at the mid town square there is a mexican restaurant serving excellent steaks too.

At "Bahnhof", near the railway station they serve you a legendary pepper steak at a reasonable price.

If you really want to lash out on expensive eating Restaurant Ritz in Hotel Salzburger Hof is recommendable.

Pizza & pasta

Just next to the waterfall in town and the bridge crossing the fall there is a pizzaria.

At the mid town square in the socalled Congress Center is Gastein Restaurant Pizzeria

Fast- junkfood

On your way to after skiing in Silver Bullet Bar for instance, and you are coming from the Stubnerkogel lift, you will pass a few shawarma bars
